The Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has released the results of the 12th board examination. 88.39% students have passed. Students can check their final results by visiting the official website of the board cbse.gov.in.

Apart from this, results can also be checked through Digilocker, UMANG app, and SMS services.

Girls result better than boys

The percentage of those passing compared to last year has increased by 0.41%. The girls have performed better than boys. The pass percentage of girls was more than 91%, which is 5.94% higher than boys.

Result was better than last year

Last year, the total passing percentage of CBSE Board 12th was 87.98%, which was slightly higher than 2023 (87.33%). The result of the Trivandrum region was the best, with a pass rate of 99.91%. The second number was Vijayawada and Chennai.

Merit list will not be released

The CBSE board does not issue merit list. Apart from this, no topper is also declared in the result. The board also instructs all schools and educational institutions not to declare any child a school or a topper of the district.

Result of 17.88 lakh students released

The class 12th examination was held between 15 February to 4 April. In this, 17.88 lakh students took the exam. A total of 42 lakh students participated in both 10th and 12th examinations.

Original marksheet will get from school

After the result is declared, students can watch their marksheets online, but this is only Temporary. Students will have to take their original marksheets from their school. Original marksheet is necessary for further studies and other official work. Schools usually update students about the original marksheet.
