New Delhi. Sunny Deol is in the news these days for the film ‘Jat’. The film is doing tremendous performance at the box office. But after the release, the film is stuck in a big controversy. A protest was organized by the Christian community in Punjab against Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s film Jat. After this, an FIR has been registered in Jalandhar. It is alleged that in the film, Randeep Hooda has disrespected the holy things used in Jesus Christ and Christianity.
A case has been registered against Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar, director Gopi Chand, producer Naveen Malineni at Sadar police station in Jalandhar.
Why are they protesting
In Jalandhar, the Christian had given a written complaint and demanded that if action is not taken, Punjab level theaters would be banned. The complaint states that disrespect is shown in the scene and it has hurt religious sentiments. Earlier, the people of Tamil Nadu have also demanded to ban the film, as they say that the LTTE community (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) has been described as a terrorist in the film.
‘Jat’ has earned so much so far
‘Jat’ has caught the attention of the audience since its release. On Thursday, the film collected a collection of four crore rupees, with which its total collection has increased to 61.5 crores. The film’s story, strong action sequences and the depth of the characters have made it popular among the audience.
‘Jat 2’ was also announced
There is news about ‘Jat 2’ that the upcoming action film will also be directed by Gopichand Malineni. At the same time, the names of producers Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Y and TG Vishwa Prasad have also been revealed in the poster. ‘Jat 2’ will also be produced by Maitri Movie Makers Production House. Sunny Deol has been confirmed in the sequel of the film. However, the manufacturers have not given information about other artists.
