In Shahdara, Delhi, 67-year-old Satish Chandra Gupta was beaten to death by some people near the house on Friday afternoon. A video of the incident has surfaced in which 4-5 people are seen surrounded by them. Satish was going to see a doctor recently after bypass surgery. According to family members, the accused asked for money from them, attacked him for refusing. His wife Vimala and son Vishal were also injured in the rescue. Vimala’s arm broke. The family alleged that the accused Rajiv Kumar Jain had already demanded one lakh rupees and has also gone to jail. Police arrested four people and sent the body for postmortem.

Building collapses in Mustafabad, Delhi, 15 people are feared to be buried in debris
A 4 -storey building collapsed in Delhi’s Mustafabad area late Friday night. Teams of NDRF and Delhi Police have reached the spot after the accident and rescue operations are going on. More than 15 people are feared trapped in the debris. Divisional Fire Officer Rajendra Atwal confirmed the accident and said that a house was reported to be collapsing at around 2:50 am. On reaching the spot, it was found that the entire building has collapsed and people are stranded in the rubble. The rescue operation has been carried out with the police.
