Three people have been arrested in Churachandpur district of Manipur with drugs worth Rs 11.05 crore. The police gave this information on Tuesday. An official said that a four -wheeler was stopped by the police near New Lamka on Saturday. On searching the vehicle, it found 97 coaches filled with 1.16 kg of heroin. After this, three people in the car were taken into custody. Police said that investigation has been started by registering a case.

Gang rape of a student from Chennai in Hyderabad to an internship, two youths arrested
Two youths have been arrested for gang rape from an i20 -year -old student for an internship from Chennai in Hyderabad. According to the police, the incident took place on 3 May. The student is a final year student of biomedical and she went to a party where the accused were also present with her.
The party drank alcohol and the same night both the youths raped her. The victim lodged a complaint about the incident at the Bachaupalli police station, after which one of the two accused who was also his friend, has been arrested.
