Earthquake tremors were felt at 1:10 am on Friday morning in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. According to the National Center for Sisamology (NCS), the Richter scale recorded a 2.8 magnitude of the earthquake. The earthquake was at a depth of 10 km.

So far no immediate report of any casualty or loss has been received. Earlier on Wednesday, there was a 3.5 magnitude earthquake in Leh, Ladakh. According to NCS, the shocks came at a depth of 10 km from the ground at 11:46 pm.
