The Delhi Assembly is going to become the first fully solar power assembly in the country. On Wednesday, Speaker Vijendra Gupta said that a new solar unit of 500 KW will be installed on the roof of the assembly, which will be ready in 60 days. This will save the government’s electricity bill up to ₹ 15 lakh every month and 10% more electricity will also be generated.
