World Boxing Championships 2025: India’s female boxer Jasmine Lamboria has created history in the World Boxing Championship. Jasmine has become the world champion in the 57 kg weight category. She is the first Indian to win gold in the World Boxing Championship 2025. Nupur had to be content with Silver and Pooja Rani with bronze.

Jasmine Lamboria defeated Julia Ceremeta of Paris Olympic Silver Medalist Poland 4–1 in the final of (57kg) category to capture gold. Jasmine performed a brilliant game in the second and third rounds. At the same time, Nupur won the silver medal in the (80+kg) category. Pooja Rani captured the bronze medal in the (80kg) category.
Earlier, Jasmine Lomboria defeated Venezuela’s Omilin Alkala 5–0 in the 57 kg semi-finals to advance to the finals. The World Cup gold medalist Jasmine did not have much trouble because she controlled the match with long distances. He put an exact jab and hooks, which had no response to his opponent. At the same time, Meenakshi had confirmed the fourth medal for India by entering the semi -finals.
Male boxer disappointed
