New Delhi: The terrorist attack on Tuesday 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the entire country. Along with all the sections of the society, the film world has also condemned it. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has strongly condemned the incident and expressed condolences to the victims.
Akshay Kumar wrote on the social media platform X post, ‘I am shocked to hear the news of the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. In this way killing innocent people is a sheer wickedness. I pray for their families. Famous actor Sonu Sood described the attack on X, calling it unbearable, ‘I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. There should be no place for terrorism in the civilized world and it is cowardice. I express deep condolences to those families who have lost their close ones and pray for those who have been injured.
Sanjay Dutt appealed to the Prime Minister
Sanjay Dutt also expressed grief. He said, ‘They brutally hit our people. It cannot be forgiven, these terrorists should know that we will not sit silent. We have to retaliate. I request our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, Home Minister Amit Shah ji and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh ji to be punished with which they deserve.

I have always been saying that there was no peace in Kashmir. It was a strategic silence. I appeal to Amit Shah to immediately secure both Kashmir and Bengal, before any other tragedy comes out. Terrorists were in army uniform
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Srinagar after a tragic terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. They will preside over a high-level security review meeting with the senior officials of the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and intelligence agencies to assess the situation. According to the information received, two-three terrorists wearing army uniforms started firing on tourists riding in Basaron area at around 2.30 pm. Basaron is a small meadow three to four kilometers from Pahalgam market and tourists come from horses, because there is no paved road to reach here.
