The body of a 22-year-old youth was found in a mountain drain on Sunday in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The young man has been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed Magre.

Imtiaz’s body was taken out of Adabal drain in Ahbal area of ​​the district on Sunday morning. The family alleges that the security forces had taken the deceased for questioning related to the Pahalgam attack.

At the same time, the police said that Imtiaz had confessed to being an overground worker (OGW) of the terrorists. He was also associated with the encounter on 23 April. Two terrorists escaped that day.

He had also confessed to knowing about Lashkar’s whereabouts. After this, he was being taken to his place in the forest. Meanwhile, he jumped into the river to escape.

The police have released drone footage of the entire incident in which Imtiaz is seen jumping and flowing into the drain. In the case, Union Territory Cabinet Minister Sakina Itu demanded a judicial inquiry of the incident.
