The BJP has misunderstood the news of delivering sindoor from door to door under the public relations program. Dainik Bhaskar published the news in the May 28 issue in the May 28 issue. It was written in this news that BJP will distribute vermilion to women as part of preparations to make the success of Operation Sindoor to the people. In the news, detailed information was also given about other programs to be done under the BJP’s outreach program. The BJP wrote on social media platform X on 30 May that this news published in Dainik Bhaskar is wrong. The Bharatiya Janata Party has not set any program to distribute sindoor from house to house. On the other hand, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya described the news of distributing vermilion as baseless. He said, Mamata Banerjee should worry about the plight of her state, and should not make absurd statements on sensitive issues like security of the country. West Bengal is burning in the fire of communalism, women are not safe, unemployed do not have employment-it should be Mamata Banerjee’s priorities.
Meanwhile, BJP national spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra has termed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement on vermilion as extremely condemnable. In a press conference, Patra said, “He will not comment on Mamata Banerjee’s statement about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as this statement itself is shameful in itself.” The Prime Minister is everyone’s servant, someone’s father is like someone’s brother. There is also no doubt that Mamata Banerjee has done the biggest work of giving shelter to intruders, Rohingyas and Bangladeshi intruders. If there is a leader of all those intruders, then he is Mamta.
