Bihar Beti Sapna Won Medal: Sapna Kumari of BSF has won 2 gold and 1 silver medal in the 21st World Police Games in Birmingham, USA. Sapna, who hails from Bhojpur, Bihar, has achieved this success in archery.
BSF’s brave Sapna Kumari performed brilliantly at the 21st World Police Games held at Bermidham (Alabama), USA and won 2 gold and a silver medal. At the same time, the head of the country and his family also raised proudly. Sapna Kumari of Bhojpur district has won three medals in the 21st World Police Games Archery and 3D archery in Birmingham, USA. He won gold in field archery, gold in 3D archery and silver medal in target archery. Sapna is working in Haryana in BSF. He is a resident of Rope Bagan Mohalla of Nawada police station area in Ara.
Among a brother and three sisters, Chhoti Sapna’s father Ara’s Raxi Bagan Nawada resident Jitendra Prasad is a tractor mechanic and mother Kunti Devi is a teacher. While the eldest sister Neetu is also working in BSF and serving the country. Sapna used to awaken at the local Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium with her elder sister Nutan Kumhari since childhood. Both sisters learned martial arts here. Sapna’s fascination with martial arts was disturbed due to frequent injuries and he adopted archery. Sapna learned the tricks of archery from the then instructor top archer Mukti Pathak. Sapna’s father Jitendra Prasad said that seeing the tendency of daughters towards the game, she increased her spirits. The result of which is in front of us today.
Sapna was appointed in the Border Security Force (GD) in the year 2014. After about two years, Sapna was selected after trial in archery in the game, currently Sapna is working in 95 battalion BSF Gurgaon. Sapna’s husband archer Rarajan Kumar is also working here. Apart from Kob Manoj Kumar and Charan ji, the husband gets full support in the archery, Ara’s preferred heroic instructor Neeraj Kumar expressed happiness over this achievement of Sapna, saying that this medal will act as an inspiration for the daughters of Bihar, the sports department has described their performance as inspiring and have exposed it as an example for the players working in the security forces. After this achievement of Sapna Kumari, her contribution and performance are being approved by the state government and sports institutions.
Sapna’s middle sister International Wushu player Nutan Kumari has won one bronze medal at the World Championship held in Bali, Indonesia in 2008 and the Asian Championship held in China in 2009. Apart from this, 13 gold, three silver and two bronze medals have been won at the national level. NIS Kov Nutan has received the Chief Minister’s honor six times.
