The developer has officially released the BGMI 4.0 update for Android devices, named ‘SPOOKY SOIREE’. This update has gone live on September 11, 2025 and includes many new features, weapons and a game mode that improve the player’s experience.

The most notable addition of this new update is the mortar weapon, designed for long distance attacks. This gives players a new strategic option to gain an edge over their opponents. Developers have also focused on realism in this update, including real reload mechanics and pistol animations, making the gameplay feel more immersive.

The theme of this update is ‘Spokey Soire’, which comes with a new mode and character. Ghosti also has many passive skills such as ‘Armer’, ‘Ghost Helm’, ‘Scan’, ‘Boost’, and ‘Heel’, which gives strategic benefits during the fight.

Another important feature is the ‘Prankter Ghost’ mode, in which the players can fight even after losing their energy not completely ends. In this mode, players can turn high-speed bombs, shields or use scans to detect the location of their enemies.
