Beta HPV virus causes skin cancer: NIH’s new discovery.

Beta HPV Virus Can Cause Skin Cancer: Scientists have made a big discovery that the virus which is considered to be a disease without any disease actually spreads skin cancer.

The minor virus that was considered earlier was the reason for skin cancer

Highlights

  • Beta-HPV virus can cause skin cancer.
  • Beta-HPV more dangerous among people with weak immunity.
  • New discovery can change the treatment of skin cancer.
Beta hpv virus can cause skin cancer: HPV virus has about 100 species. Some of these women are responsible for unique cancer. Most HPV viruses are present in the body and are not considered harmful. But one of those who are not considered harmful is directly responsible for skin cancer. Researchers at the American National Institute of Health have claimed this in their latest discovery. Scientists say that there is a type of HPV that usually lives on your skin and does its work quietly? This is called beta-HPV. Earlier, scientists believed that it does not directly cause skin cancer, but it only causes a little harm to the damage caused to the skin due to sunlight. But the shocking thing has come to light in the new discovery.

It was discovered in a woman’s skin cancer
Researchers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have found evidence that Beta-HPV, considered innocent, can actually cause skin cancer. Especially among those whose immunity ie the immune system is not working properly. The discovery has been done when a 34-year-old woman is repeatedly troubled by skin cancer. The woman was repeatedly getting a common type of skin cancer. This is called squamous cell carcinoma. This cancer used to be on his forehead. Despite surgery and treatment, the cancer kept coming back again and again. The doctors first felt that his skin was not able to repair the damage caused by the sun’s rays properly and its immune system was not able to control the virus. But later it was discovered that the beta-HPV virus in his case was actually penetrated into the DNA of its skin cells and was actively making viral protein. This means that her skin cells had completely hijacked. This was a big discovery because before that Beta-HPV was not seen doing so.

Weak immunity is a big reason for cancer

The problem of the woman’s immune system was that T cells were not getting activated properly, which gave the virus a chance to remain in the body and repeatedly cause skin cancer. After this situation, the NIH team planned a personal treatment for the woman. For this, the woman has removed her weak immune cells from the body and has transplanted healthy cells i.e. stem cells. After this, it became amazing. After the transplant, all its HPV symptoms were completely eliminated. Till now he did not return again even after more than three years have passed. This research proves that beta-HPV can directly cause skin cancer in people whose immune system is weak. This does not only help to increase the damage caused by the rays of the sun, but can harm the cells itself. Scientists say that this discovery can completely change the way of treating skin cancer. Especially for those whose immune system is weak. This discovery also shows how important our immune system is to keep the virus under control.
