The Goa police arrested the accused Sanjay from Hubli.
A young man from Karnataka killed his girlfriend in Goa. After this he escaped. Police said the accused Sanjay Kevin M (22) killed his girlfriend Roshni Moses M (22).
According to South Goa SP Timk Singh Verma, Sanjay and Roshni are a resident of Bengaluru South. Both were in a relationship for 5 years. Came to Goa to marry. There was a dispute between the two, angry Sanjay strangled Roshni with a knife and killed him.
According to the police, Sanjay was thrown into the forest of Pratap Nagar by Sanjay. The body was reported on the morning of 17 June. The purse of investigation was found, which had a bus ticket from Hubli (Karnataka) to Goa.
According to the SP, the accused Sanjay was arrested from Hubli with the help of Karnataka Police. During interrogation, he accepted the bus coming to Goa by bus with Roshni.
Sanjay told the police that there was a dispute between the two in the bus itself. After this he landed in Pilim-Dharbandora. Sanjay took Roshan to the forest, murdered him with a knife and escaped.
The body of Roshni was recovered by the police in the forest of Pratap Nagar.
