Before iPhone 17 launch, Apple will pay Rs 6.3 crore every month on the office in Bengaluru

New Delhi. The iPhone manufacturer Apple India has leased about 2.7 lakh square feet of office space in Bengaluru for 10 years, which has an initial monthly fare amount of Rs 6.3 crore. This information has been given by data analytics firm Propstack. Apple is the largest exporter of mobile phones from India. In the financial year 2024-25, the company exported iPhones worth about Rs 1.5 lakh crore.

Many floors and car parking
The company has taken several floors and car parking space lease from the real estate firm Embassy Group. According to Propstack, Apple will pay more than Rs 1,000 crore as rent, car park and maintenance charge in the next 10 years. This information has come out after reviewing the registration document of leasing transactions.

However, Apple refused to comment on it. The lease has been signed for 120 months or 10 years, which will be effective from 3 April 2025. Apple’s new investment came when US President Donald Trump openly criticized the company for expanding its operations in India.

The initial fare is Rs 235 per square feet per month and the company has given a deposit of Rs 31.57 crore. The fare will increase 4.5 percent every year, which will increase the total payment to more than Rs 1,000 crore. According to the documents, the company has leased nine floors from 5th to 13th floors in Embassy Zenith. Many of Apple’s engineering teams are spread in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
