New Delhi. If you have Pixel 7A and you have seen that your phone looks slightly bloated, then you are not alone. Google has officially accepted the problem of battery flowering in some Pixel 7A units. In a recently published support page, Tech giants said that some devices may show signs of battery flourishing, rapid battery finish or charging problems.
To solve this problem, Google has launched a report program, which will be offered free batteries or other types of compensation. However, for this offer, your ability will depend on where you live and whether your device is still in warranty.

What is the problem?
According to Google, the problem is related to battery flowering. This can cause many problems:
1. The phone looks thick or bloated
2. Back cover emerging or loose
3. 3. Battery rapid elimination or charging failure
These problems can affect the way the device works and also cause security risk.

Free battery replacement
If your device is eligible, you can get free battery replacement once. But there are some conditions – water, sharp objects or falls cannot be damaged. If your screen or back glass is broken, Google may charge separate fee to repair those parts.
Battery replacements are currently available at walk-in repair centers in countries like US, India, Canada, UK, Germany, Japan, and Singapore. Mail-in repair options are also available in the US and India.

Cash and discount option
Google is giving compensation in countries where repair services are not available:
Out-off-warrant users: $ 200 cash or new pixel phone discount on phone
Under-warrant users: $ 456 Cash
These options are not available in the US and India, where mail-in and walk-in repair services are available. Also, after choosing the option once, you cannot change it later. “Changing the battery will not increase the standard warranty coverage of your Pixel 7A. Your warranty will end on the same date, which was already determined, whether the battery was changed or not.
