Accused Rakib in police custody.
In Bathinda, the army has arrested a person today. The person is accused of spying. The accused has been identified as Rakib, who hails from Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Army Police has arrested Rakib working as Master Taylor in Cantt.

Rakib was working as a master tailor in Bathinda Cantt for the last two years and lived in his shop. Due to suspicious activities, the army police arrested him and handed him over to the Bathinda police. According to SP City, a case has been registered under the case number 77 in police station Cantt.
The police has sent the mobile phone of the accused for forensic investigation. Also, the numbers on which the accused contacted are also being investigated. Bathinda police produced the accused in court, from where three days police remand has been received. Further action will be taken based on the evidence from forensic investigation.
