Shreyas Iyer has not been selected in the Indian team for the Asia Cup. Basit Ali spoke on the YouTube show ‘Game Time’ that if Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammad Shami (Mohammed Shami) and Mohammad Siraj would have played for Pakistan, then they were playing for Pakistan. Due to which India has a glut of talent in T20 format. Specifically speaking when Iyer was not included in the team, Basit accused the BCCI of doing injustice to the player.
Basit Ali said, ‘is excessive with Shreyas Iyer. They should be in the team. Basit also supported India to win the Asia Cup. This former Pakistani baleer said that only Sri Lanka can challenge him for the title. He has a very explosive team. And I think only Sri Lanka can compete with them.
