In the third T20 match played at the R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka scored 132 runs for 7 wickets while batting first. Opener Pathum Nisanka scored an innings of 46 runs off 39 balls while Dasun Shanaka remained unbeaten after scoring 35 runs off 25 balls. Kamindu Mendis returned to the pavilion after scoring 21 runs off 15 balls. 6 Sri Lankan batsmen could not even touch the double figure. Mehndi Hasan took 4 wickets from Bangladesh.
Chasing a target of 133 runs, Bangladesh won the loss of 2 wickets in 16.3 overs. Bangladesh did not have a good start and its opener Parvez Hussain was dismissed without opening an Emone account.
