Teflon-Koted Non-Status- According to cancer experts, if you rub teflon-koted non-stick utensils with steel scrubbers, then you are frying food in poison. If the teflon coating is scrapped, then harmful chemicals come out of it which are found in food. If you clean such utensils with aluminum or steel scrubbers, then their coating starts coming down, which causes dangerous chemicals to come out. These utensils can release harmful smoke on hot heat, which can cause a disease called teflon flu or polymer fume fever. Its symptoms are fever, headache, fatigue etc.
Which utensils is safe to cook?
Dr. Krishna told in podcast that people should use brass, cast iron i.e. iron embroidery and traditional utensils to avoid cancer. We should return to old methods again. The more we run towards modernity, the more problems increase. Therefore, people should choose the right pot, so that health is not harmed.
