Voting was held on 19 on 5 assembly seats.
Results of 5 assembly seats in 4 states will come on Monday. The counting will start from 8 am. Visavadar and Kadi of Gujarat, Ludhiana West in Punjab, Nilambur in Kerala and Kaliganj seat of West Bengal were voted on 19 June.
BJP’s credibility in Gujarat is at stake. The BJP had won the first seat. In such a situation, the BJP will have to retain a tough seat. In Visavadar, AAP MLA Bhupendrabhai Gandubhai Bhaiyi resigned from the post of 13 December 2023. He joined BJP. The party would like to win here again.
Kaliganj TMC of West Bengal and Nilambur in Kerala were occupied by LDF. The Ludhiana West of Punjab was with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). AAP from Ludhiana West has made Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora a candidate.
If Arora becomes an MLA, then they have to leave the Rajya Sabha seat, which will vacate the Rajya Sabha seat. It is estimated that AAP can send Arvind Kejriwal to Rajya Sabha from this seat.
