Asif Ali Retirement: Asif Ali retired from international cricket. He played 21 ODIs, 58 T20s for Pakistan. He was also part of the team in the 2021 T20 World Cup and Asia Cup. Now we will play domestic cricket.

He said in a social media post, “Wearing a jersey of Pakistan has been the biggest honor of my life, and serving my country on the cricket field has been the most proud chapter for me. I am retiring with great gratitude and will keep sharing my passion towards the game by playing domestic and league cricket.”
Asif made his international debut for Pakistan in a T20 match played in Karachi on 1 April 2018 against West Indies. His last match was against Bangladesh in Hangzhou on 7 October 2023 for the 1992 World Cup winners.

During his five -year -long international career, Asif scored 382 runs in 16 ODI innings and 577 runs in 51 T20 innings. His strike rate in T20 was 133.87. He was part of the Pakistan team in the 2021 T20 World Cup and scored 25 runs in just 7 balls in a close match against Afghanistan in Dubai on 29 October.
He also played in the 2021 T20 World Cup match against India at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 24 October, which was won by the Babar Azam -led team by 10 wickets. Asif also participated in the 2018 and 2022 Asia Cup (both held in UAE) for Pakistan.
