New Delhi. Indian women’s Asian Athletics Championships continue to perform well. On the second day of the championship, on Wednesday, daughters put the medal in the country. Not one, but two players, showing their strength, gave the country a silver medal. Rupal Chaudhary won these medals for the country in 400 meters while in Pooja 1500 meters.
Yunus Shah won the bronze medal in the men’s 1500 meters and brought India’s total medal to five. It also includes a gold medal of Gulveer Singh (10,000 meters) won on Tuesday. Rupal finished second in the women’s 400 meter finals to finish second by taking 52.68 seconds and won the first medal of the day for India. In this event, compatriot Vithya Ramraj finished fifth with a time of 53.00 seconds. Japan’s Nanako Matsumoto (52.17 seconds) won gold while Jonbibi Hukmova (52.79 seconds) of Uzbekistan won bronze.
