Apple has announced the Free Ripare Program for some Mac models in India. If you have Mac and you want to know whether you are eligible for this program, then all information is given here.

Highlights
- Apple launched a free repair program for MAC Mini.
- Eligible devices will be repaired at Apple stores.
- This service will cover for three years from the date of original retail sales.
New Delhi. Apple has launched a service program for some MAC MINI models of 2023, which has M2 chip and which can face a serious problem: they are no longer power on. The company says that the problem affects the “very small percentage” units, which have been constructed between June 16, 2024 to 23 November 2024 and for this free repair of qualified devices is being offered.
If your Mac Mini comes in this affected time and power is not turning on, then Apple advises you to check your device’s serial number from the lookup tool given on its support site. Free repair of qualified devices will be done through Apple Stores or Apple Authorized Service Providers. This is a global report program, although Apple has noted that service can be limited to the original country or procurement sector. International buyers or users who have changed have to be kept in mind.
The important thing is that despite this service being free, Mac does not increase the standard warranty of Mini. Instead, Apple says that this program will cover qualified units for three years from the date of original retail sales – so that customers get a liberal service window, even if they are out of general one year warranty or applecare+ coverage.
If you are eligible for this program, then you can apply for repair by visiting Apple’s Authorized Service Center. You will have to carry serial number and other necessary documents with your MacBook.
How long will this program last?
Apple has not announced the last date of this program, but it will be available only for a limited time. Therefore, if you are eligible, apply as soon as possible. For more information, you can visit Apple’s official website or contact their customer care.
