Apple launched iPhone 17 Series, iPhone 8 Plus and Mac Vintage List

New Delhi. Apple is preparing to launch its new iPhone 17 series in the global market on 9 September. Prior to this major event, the company has included an iPhone model in its list of vintage products and put three MAC models in the list of obscoley products. Apple has included two models of iPhone 8 Plus – 64GB and 256GB storage – in its vintage products list. The company had already stopped selling these models in many areas.

According to Apple, a product is considered a vintage when it is closed for 5 to 7 years for sale. Now these phones will be officially considered old. Apple keeps updating the list of vintage and obscole devices on its website, so that users can get information.

According to Apple’s policy, repair service is discontinued for obsclet products. However, the support page of the company says that the facility of battery repair for MAC laptops can be available for 10 years of the discontinuation of sale.

Older models likely to close after launch iPhone 17

Apple closes some old models after the new iPhone launch every year, especially the Pro models, so that users buy new iPhone Pro models. This time the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are likely to be closed. Their sale on Apple stores and official channels may stop, but these stocks will be sold on third-party platforms like Flipkart and Amazon. Apart from this, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which are now two years old, can also be closed. The purpose of this strategy of Apple is to draw users towards new models.
