The most special feature in iOS 26 is Adaptive Power. This is an AI based power saving setting, which works to increase the battery life of the iPhone especially during high use. So far iPhone users have been using options like reducing brightness, off-on display or turning on low power mode to save battery, but the adaptive power is much smarter than this.

This feature works only when the phone is being used for more battery consumption works, such as video recording, photo editing or gaming. At such a time, the adaptive power adjusts small performance so that the battery can run for a long time.

According to Apple, ‘When your battery use is more than normal, the iPhone can increase the battery life by adjusting small performance adjustments. This includes decreasing display brightness or slowing down some activities. Low power mode on 20% battery can be turned on automatically.

How to turn on adaptive power

Adaptive power settings are not turned on by default. To turn it on, make sure that your iPhone iOS is running on 26 developer or public beta.

For this, go to Settings> Battery> Power Mode.

Here the new option of Adaptive Power will be seen above the low power mode.

Intelligent battery saving can be activated by on it.

Which devices will support Adaptive Power?

Apple may not officially call it a part of Apple Intelligent officially, but according to reports, these features will be found only in the iphones which support Apple Intelligence. That is, this option will not be seen in old iphones.
