Prior to this, he has represented India in the Para Olympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France in 2024.

Shailesh participated in the Asian Para Games before the Olympics. Shailesh won the medal at the Asian Para Games held in Paris. Earlier, he finished second in this competition by putting a 1.83 meter high championship in the Athletics World Championship and won the silver medal. In view of Shailesh’s successes, the Bihar government also gave him a job under the Medal Lao Job Pao Yojana and is currently working as a CDPO in Shailesh Child Development Project Department.
