Akshay Kumar’s film Kesari Chapter 2 will be released on May 23 in Telugu.

One of such films ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’ has made a special identity among the audience. In this film, Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey and R.K. Madhavan is in important roles. The film is doing well at the box office. Meanwhile, the producers have taken a big decision about the film. They are now going to release the film in Telugu language as well. Akshay Kumar has announced this through his social media account.

Akshay Kumar shared a post on his Instagram, which has a poster of the film and the film’s name is written in Telugu language ‘Kesari Chapter 2’. Also, the release date has also been revealed. The poster has the release date downwards. Sharing this poster, Akshay wrote in the caption, “What was buried was not just true, it was incomplete justice! ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is releasing in theaters on May 23 in Telugu.”

With the release in Telugu, the film will now reach Telugu -speaking audiences, where patriotism and deep interest in historical stories are seen.

About the film

In the film, Akshay Kumar plays the role of C. Shankaran Nair, who is a fearless lawyer and fights a legal battle against the British Empire after the massacre. There R. Madhavan has played the role of a fiery lawyer Neville McCinley, who fights on behalf of the British government. Apart from these, Ananya Pandey appeared in the important role of lawyer Dilrit Gill.

The film is inspired by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat’s book ‘The case that Shok The Empire’. The film is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ has been released in theaters on April 18, 2025.
