A pilot of Air India Express died of cardiac arrest in Delhi on Tuesday (April 9). The incident took place at Indira Gandhi International Airport, when the pilot was doing other formalities at the airport after landing of Srinagar-Delhi flight.
According to the airline, the pilot started having trouble after the landing, after a while he fell unconscious. The pilot was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.
The name of the pilot is being told as Armaan. Fellow employees said that after the landing, the pilot vomited the cookpit and then died of cardiac arrest in the airline’s dispatch office.
However, the reasons for cardiac arrest have not yet been detected, many times there is a possibility of heart attack due to air turbulance in the aircraft. It will be detected only after the postmortem report of the pilot’s body.

Air India Express issued a statement saying, “We express deep grief over our partner’s death. In this difficult time we are with their family and are providing all possible help. We request everyone not to respect our privacy at this time and do not make any unnecessary speculation.”
