Turki said- Our company did not maintain the crashed aircraft
The Turki’s information department has rejected the claim that the Boeing 787-8 aircraft of Air India was maintained by Turkish Technic Company. In a X post, the department said that making such a claim is an attempt to mislead the public and influence India-Turki relations.
The agreement signed between Air India and Turkish Technique is only for the maintenance of the B777 aircraft, not for Boeing 787-8. Turkish technic never did the maintenance work on the aircraft that took place.
Till now the Turkish Technic has not served any Boeing 787-8 aircraft of Air India. We are aware that which company had served that aircraft for the last time, but we cannot say anything on it so that misunderstandings do not spread. Our organization will keep an eye on such false claims and will take necessary steps against those who tarnish Türkiye’s image.
