New Delhi: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is the daughter of an army officer. His feelings towards the Indian Army are deep and private. After ‘Operation Sindoor’, Preity Zinta has donated Rs 1.10 crore to the army widows and their children. This help has been done under Operation Sindoor launched after the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam. This donation has been given to the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) under the South Western Command. The initiative has been taken under Punjab Kings Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), whose love is Jinta Co-Honor.

Information related to donation was given in a statement on Saturday (May 24), which said, ‘This donation has been made with the aim of strengthening the brave women and support for their children’s education.’ According to ‘Times Now’ report, Preeti did this donation during a ceremony in Jaipur, which included Army Commander of South Western Command, Regional President Shapta Shakti and Army’s families.

Preeti said in a ceremony in Jaipur, ‘It is both respect and responsibility for us to help the brave families of our army. The sacrifices of our soldiers can never be fully compensated, but we can stand with their families and support them in their ahead of them. We are proud of the soldiers of India and we support their efforts to protect the national security. We stand united with the country and our brave soldiers.
