New Delhi. Former Pakistani singer Adnan Sami left the citizenship of his country in 2016 and took citizenship of India. Since 2016, Adnan Sami, who became an Indian citizen, had to face strong opposition in Pakistan. Singer, while referring to this in his old interview, said that even after his mother’s death, Pakistan refused to give him a visa. Due to lack of visa, he had to give a final farewell to his mother on video calls.
Adnan Sami’s mother died in October last year after which he applied for a visa, but the Pakistani government rejected his request.
