The Gujarat Police is taking action on illegal construction in Chandola Talab area near Shah Alam area of Ahmedabad.
Bulldozer action has started on illegal construction of Bangladeshi infiltrators in Chandola Talab area near Shah Alam area of Ahmedabad. The Gujarat Police started preparations from Monday night. Here 50 bulldozers and 36 dumpers have been installed.

After the Pahalgam attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday directed all state governments to identify foreign nationals and send them back. After this, the Gujarat government asked the Police Crime Branch to immediately detain foreign nationals living illegally in big cities and villages of the state.
The police operation started at 12 pm on Saturday and lasted till 6 am. 457 people have been detained in Ahmedabad and about 100 in Surat. The police took out a parade of the people in custody and reached the headquarters on foot.
Currently, everyone’s documents are under investigation. Indian Aadhaar cards have also been found from some people. The police have also seized everyone’s phones. It is being questioned right now. If valid documents are not found, the government will send everyone to their country.
Around 100 policemen involved in 6 teams of Surat police took action against foreign nationals.
In Ahmedabad, 454 people were taken to the Crime Branch office amidst a rope circle.
