A new story has come out in the divorce case of UP’s fiery woman DSP Shrestha Thakur and her husband Rohit Singh. Rohit Singh, a resident of Amrai Nawada, Ara, has made several serious allegations against his wife Shrestha Thakur.

After coming out of jail, Rohit first came in front of the media in Ara on Saturday and made big revelations about the relationship with his wife Shrestha Thakur.
Rohit says that, ‘Shrestha called me on a date Lucknow. In the very first meeting, both of us stayed together and after the night passed, Shrestha married me in Lucknow the very next day. A common woman killed her husband and filled the drum, I am an officer.
However, DSP Shrestha Thakur has dismissed all these allegations. He says that Rohit has frauded with many girls.

‘Shrestha pressed for marriage’
Rohit told-
In 2017, we started talking to Shrestha Thakur on Facebook through a friend. Shrestha sent me a friend request. Both of us chatted for about two months, then the closeness grew. After this, he shared his number. Both of us agreed and planned to meet in Lucknow. Then in August 2017, we also met at a hotel in Lucknow. We spent the night in the same room.
Rohit said- ‘Shreesh Thakur started pressurizing the marriage as soon as dawn. We got married on 9 August 2017 at a Hanuman temple in Hazratganj (Ganjapar), Lucknow. After this, the people of both of us made up their mind to give social recognition to the marriage. About 10 months later, on 16 July 2018, I and Shrestha got married socially in Patna (Kisan Marriage Hall, Saguna Mode).
Both were married in Patna on 16 July 2018.
‘The common woman killed her husband and selected it in a drum, I am an officer’
Rohit says that
‘My son is trapped among the poor. You people must have seen, a woman killed her husband and filled the drum and selected it with cement, she was a normal woman, my wife is an officer. My wife has implicated me in a false case and I have not yet divorced. The story that was not revealed till now, I am telling people today.
‘Mother-in-law says-2.5 crore dowry is given, while wife and brother-in-law say 1 crore’
Rohit said that I did not have any transaction from Shrestha’s family, I had spent all the expenses. The safari vehicle was also gifted, but that vehicle was also sold incorrectly. The lie of Shrestha and his family about dowry is that his mother says that I gave two and a half crores of rupees in dowry, while his brother and Shrestha say that Rohit was given one crore rupees in dowry.
Before making the wedding public, both of us went to visit many other places including Nepal, Puri. When the marriage went public, 15 to 20 people came from their side in the wedding, many people had arrived from our side.

Applicable for divorce in 2021, FIR was done in 2024
Rohit told that ‘both of us have a son, who is six years old. The son is currently with Shrestha. Shrestha took advantage of the uniform wrong and applied for divorce in December 2021 in the Ghaziabad court. After this, he also filed an FIR on me in 2024, due to which I had to go to jail.
I have been accused of mental harassment, threatening to kill, misbehavior, for fake, lying and getting married. But all these things are baseless. The hearing is to be held in the court on 7 April.
Rohit said- I am not lying
Rohit says that, ‘Both of us wanted to socialize our marriage, and Shrestha started telling about me that I am an Assistant Commissioner (IRS officer) in Income Tax. By telling this method, he started trapping me.
I told Shrestha that I run coaching and school in Ranchi. Shrestha has stalled all my work by putting police pressure on me. I told everything at the time of marriage.
‘Shrestha got me from home in September 2023’
Rohit alleges that,
Rohit said that ‘I too have accused Shrestha Thakur his brother Manish Pratap, DCP Ghaziabad, Kaushambi police station in -charge Sarvesh Pal and other policemen. I have filed a case on all this. Court order of this case is yet to come.
Rohit told that after marriage in the temple, I and Shrestha went to visit many places.
‘I sent me to jail in a fake way
Rohit said that Shrestha called the policemen and assaulted me, due to which I agreed to divorce. However, I and Shrestha have not yet divorced, the case of both is going on in Ghaziabad court. There is a hearing on 7 April. Rohit said that Shrestha never allowed to meet the child since 2021.
In 2023, I was accused of mental harassment, threatening to kill, forgery, lying in Bihian by accusing me of getting married. In 2024, a case was made at Kaushambi police station in Ghaziabad. The Kaushambi police arrested me and brought me to Ara on production warrant and I was jailed here. Went to jail on 10 February 2024 and remained in jail for 8 months.
Rohit says that
After leaving jail, I kept quiet, because my mental condition was not good, but now the time has come that I can put my point in front of everyone
