The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested CRPF jawan Moti Ram Jat from Delhi. He is accused of sharing India’s sensitive information to Pakistan’s intelligence officials.
According to the NIA, since 2023, Pakistan was sharing details related to national security with intelligence officials (PIO). Moti Ram was also receiving money in different ways to Pio.
Moti Ram was produced in Patiala House Court, from where he has been sent to custody till 6 June. NIA is questioning him.
On May 24, Gujarat ATS arrested a man from Kutch, Sahadev Singh Gohil. Gohil used to send a Pakistani agent through BSF-Navy’s existing army units through WhatsApp.
Sahadeva was working on contract in the Health Department in Lakhpat taluka of Kutch. Earlier on May 15, YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra from Hisar, Haryana was arrested for spying for Pakistan.

Sahadev Singh Gohil was arrested by Gujarat ATS on 24 May.
Apart from BSF, he was also sending photo-videos of the Navy in the coastal areas of Kutch.
According to the ATS, in June 2023, a woman contacted Gohil on WhatsApp by calling herself Aditi Bhardwaj. It is being told that for the first time, Gohil received cash of 40 thousand rupees on sending sensitive information.
According to the investigating officials, the woman initially started a conversation with Gohil by telling the wrong name. When the trust between the two became confident, he had cleared his intentions to Gohil. He described a plan to spy for Pakistan.
Sahadev Singh also joined it in the greed of money. Pakistani intelligence officials always try to trap the people of the border area. Pakistani agents have database and phone numbers of Indian people, on which these agents bomb messages.
Especially target people working on government contracts. The Pakistani spy agency somehow acquires data of people working on government contracts. Then a network of trapping them in different ways is laid.
Forensic investigation of Gohil’s mobile phone has revealed that the two numbers from which Gohil used to send information are now operating from Pakistan. Gohil took a new SIM card in January 2024 using his Aadhaar card and sent his OTP to the Pakistani agent. With this, the agent could run WhatsApp on that number from Pakistan.
Prior to Gohil, ATS also arrested a young man from Kutch for spying for a girl named Aditi on 7 July 2023.
YouTuber arrested for espionage for Pakistan from Hisar, Haryana
On May 15, YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra was arrested from Hisar in Haryana.

Investigation agencies suspect that the data that Jyoti deleted from her mobile may contain two types of things. First, chatting from ISI agents. Earlier, some part of chatting has been revealed from Jyoti’s ISI agent Ali Hasan.
At the same time, the second doubt is that he shot many such videos during travel, which were only to give to ISI agents. After sending them, Jyoti deleted him. However, only after the forensic report, something can be said strongly.
SP Shashank Kumar Sawan of Hisar has said that Jyoti has not received direct contact with terrorists. It is so important that she was in the touch of Pak operative, which is being investigated.
