Samsung slimmest smartphone: Samsung is going to launch its new handset Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, tomorrow i.e. on 13 May. It is being said about the new smartphone Galaxy S25 Edge that this is Samsung’s thinnest phone so far. The smartphone will be introduced at a virtual unpacked event at KST (IST at 5:30 am) at 9:00 am. Obviously, fans are very excited about this thin Galaxy S-series phone of Samsung. The Galaxy S25 Edge has already drawn everyone’s attention for its extremely thin design. According to the leaked information, the thickness of this device will be only 5.85mm and its weight will be about 163 grams. If this happens, it will become one of the thinnest and lighter premium smartphones available in the market.

According to rumors, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will first be available in select markets like South Korea and China and after that it will be launched in other markets in a few weeks. In India, the price of this phone can be between Rs 99,999 to Rs 1,29,999, which keeps it between Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
According to the leaked information, the price of 256GB variants can be approximately Euro 1,249 (about Rs 1,18,600), while the 512GB variant can be priced at Euro 1,369 (about Rs 1,30,000).
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Specification
One of the most special features of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is that it is a smartphone with ultra-thin body. This phone will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which will have a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and the refresh rate 120Hz. For the protection of the display, Samsung has used corning’s new Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and has been confirmed by the company about it. At the same time, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 will be used for the safety behind the phone and the frame will be of titanium, so that this phone will give even more strong and premium feel.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a 200-megapixel primary rear camera. This is the same sensor used in Galaxy S25 Ultra. The phone is also expected to include a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The selfie camera is also likely to be a 12-megapixel sensor, which is probably taken from S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, which will be paired with 12GB RAM and storage up to 512GB. One UI 7 based on Android 15 is expected to run in the phone.
