Hazaribagh East Zone Inter University Kho-Kho Female Competition has been organized at Vinoba Bhave University in Hazaribagh. More than 600 women players from 31 universities of Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Assam, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh participated in it. This competition is like a Mahakumbh for women kho-kho players, where players are getting aware of each other’s technology and culture.
The competition was duly inaugurated on Thursday, in which a spectacular performance of the art and dance of Jharkhand was given. Players from other states also looked very happy to see the cultural dances here. Giving information on the occasion, Vice Chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University, Dr. Pawan Kumar Poddar said that this is a very proud moment. This is the first time Vinoba Bhave University is hosting this type of sports event. So far, teams from 31 universities have reached here and 3 to 4 more teams are expected to come.
National and international level players also became part
More than 600 women players from 31 universities of seven states across the country participated in this competition. Among them, there are many players who have been a part of the state, national and international level Kho-Kho team. These experienced players are getting the opportunity to learn a lot for new players.
Players appreciated the arrangement of Hazaribagh
Students from Hemchand Yadav Durg University, Chhattisgarh said that the system here is much better. He told that he got to learn a lot by coming here, especially the opportunity to join the civilization and culture of Jharkhand. For the first time, she saw Chhau dance, which she was very impressed to see.

Players from Patna University told that many of them have come to Hazaribagh even before. But this time he got a chance to meet new players and know their culture. He said that with this competition, he is getting an opportunity to create new friends and improve his sports talent.
