Despite having a well-known name in the Hindi and Punjabi music industry for years, Micah says that sometimes he is surprised by his ability to hit some special notes while singing. He recently recalled an incident when he cried while performing performance in a reality show, in which Priyanka Chopra was also present. Micah admitted that her emotional response to the show may have been exaggerated by actresses and others present.
Recalling that moment, Micah told Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, ‘Sometimes I used to cry after listening to my own songs. I think this is due to age. I cried after singing two lines of a song in a reality show. If I tell someone, they will not believe my point. They will say, ‘Which are you Tansen’s child’. He further said, ‘I was singing the song’ Bade Achhe Lagte Hain ‘in the show and I was happy to hear myself while singing. Priyanka Chopra was sitting next to me and I started crying. The trolls said, “He cannot sing, so he is crying.” Now, the whole industry cries in the reality show, but when I used to do so, people used to ask me, ‘Why are you doing this?’
In earlier conversations with the screen, Micah revealed that his first intention was to become a music director when he entered the industry. He said, ‘In 1998, when my song’ Sawan Mein Lag Gaya Aag ‘came, it became a hit. But at that time, I wanted to become a singer, not a singer. So I did not pay much attention to my singing in the song. It did not matter to me that there is a nose voice in the song.
