Dia Mirza reacted on Fawad Khan’s demand for ban.
New Delhi. Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was preparing to make a comeback in India with the film Abir Gulal. But after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday (April 22), there is now a demand for ban on Pakistani actor across the country. Voice is being raised against the film of Pakistani actor from different sections. Meanwhile, actress Dia Mirza has come out in support of Fawad Khan.
Talking with News18 Shosha, actress Dia Mirza advised Fawad Khan and said that we should not get art and hatred together. Being optimistic, the actress says that she hopes that Bollywood will work closely with Pakistan in future.
On the question of the demand for a ban on the actor, Diya says, this is a political question. If the circumstances of banning artists are completely a political issue. I have always believed that art is a medium of peace and harmony and should always be. We should never allow art and sports to get entangled or mix with hatred. It is a good thing that Fawad is again in the film, you know that we will see soon. I hope that this will give more opportunities for both countries to work together.
