New Delhi. Google TV Streamer (4K) has been launched. As the company’s latest smart home entertainment solution, this new device has replaced the Google TV (4K) coming with a 2020 Chromecast. This new device has features like media streaming, 32GB onboard storage and artificial intelligence (AI) capability in this new device. A major redigation has also been done in it. Now in this, Google has removed the shape of dongle-like dongle of its previous Chromecast streaming devices and has chosen an attractive look in its place.
The Google TV Streamer (4K) is priced at $ 99.99 (about 8,390 rupees). It can be pre -ordered from the official Google website in the US and some other areas. The device is available in two color options. These options- Hazel and Porcelain. Its availability in India has not been confirmed yet.

Google TV Streamer (4K) 60 frames supports up to 4K HDR per second (FPS). It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and HLG video format and Dolby Atmos Audio. According to the company, its dimensions are 6.4 × 3.0×1.0 and weighs about 162 grams. Now it has a set-top box-like form factor which can be kept flat on the desk instead of an old dongle-like design.

Google’s TV streammer runs on Android TV OS and has 4GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. It can run TV streaming apps like YouTube, Netflix, Apple TV+ and others, which gives more than 700,000 films and show access to users. Google says that the TV streamer (4K) takes advantage of the company’s Gemini Large Language Model (LLM) to get media summer, review and season-by-season breakdown. It also uses Google AI to give content decoration based on the viewing preference of users.
Apart from this, its ambient mode can be togmatic that can showcase the favorite photos of users found from Google Photos on TV screen. Meanwhile, its generative AI can generate a screenceavor with a voice prompt through the new remote.
In terms of connectivity, Google TV Streamer (4K) comes with USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet port. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
