Govinda has given many superhit films to Bollywood. If James had agreed to Cameron, he would have been a part of the famous film ‘Avatar’ worldwide. Govinda once reached India TV show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. The actor had claimed about the film ‘Avatar’ that he was offered by Hollywood director James Cameron. Govinda had told that he has rejected many films in his career.
The name ‘Avatar’ was given by Govinda
Govinda told that ‘I suggested the title of the film to him and this film became a super hit. I told Cameron that it would take about 7-8 years to make the film and he was disappointed with it. He asked me how I can say with so much confidence that ‘avatar’ cannot be made soon. I replied saying that I look impossible from my perspective and as I had predicted that the film came after 7 years and was a big successful film.
Refused due to body paint
Govinda further told that ‘I told Cameroon that I am not just that I can live for 410 days by painting the whole body’. In this way Govinda refused to do James Cameron films.
