Ayurvedic doctor Siraj Siddiqui, a resident of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, says to Local 18 that it is a good thing to consume yogurt in summer. Dr. Siraj says that people eat it with parathas in breakfast. Many people make a lassi and drink it. Yogurt is rich in many minerals including sodium, potassium, fiber, protein, calcium, iron and vitamin D. The combination of some things with yogurt should be avoided. Many people eat onion raita and many people eat curd mixed with raw onion salads. Do not eat raw onion with yogurt because the onion effect is hot and the effect of raita is cold. Eating these two together can cause pimples, skin irritation and allergies on your face.

Sour fruits like lemon, orange and seasonal should not be eaten with yogurt.
