Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray may once again come together in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray indicated this on Saturday. Raj Thackeray said- We have political differences, controversies, quarrels, but all these are very small things ahead of Maharashtra. It is not very difficult to come together for the benefit of Maharashtra and Marathi people.

Raj Thackeray said these things on actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar’s YouTube channel. Mahesh Manjrekar questioned Raj on the alliance with Uddhav. On this, Raj Thackeray said that the battles between us are small in front of a big purpose. Uddhav’s reaction has also come here, he said that there was never any quarrel from my side.

In the interview, Raj Thakar spoke to Shinde, BJP and Shiv Sena …

1. This is not a case of personal selfishness

Raj Thackeray said, “I don’t think it is a very difficult thing to come together and live together. The question is only of will.

2. He said on the question of Shinde- I will not work under anyone else

On the matter of Eknath Shinde coming to power and objection, Raj said, “Firstly, Shinde’s departure or the breakdown of MLAs became a separate part of politics. When I left the Shiv Sena, many MLAs and MPs came to me. But I had the same thing in my mind that if I leave Balasaheb, I would not work under anyone else. This was the situation at that time.”

3. There was no objection to working with Uddhav

He said, “When I was in the Shiv Sena, I had no objection to working with Uddhav. The question is, whether I want me to work with him? I never bring my ego to such small things.”

4. On going with BJP, he said- what happens in politics, cannot say

When Mahesh Manjrekar questioned the BJP going with the BJP, Raj Thane said, “Whatever I can say or do for the Marathi people or for the Marathi people, I will do it. I will be political to come with the BJP, but my thinking does not match their thinking. But what happens in politics, nothing can be said.

Both of them fell in 2024 assembly elections

Raj rebelled from Shiv Sena in 2005 Addressing the workers in the Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ on 10 December 2005, Balasaheb Thackeray wrote in a column, ‘Will Shiv Sena party be divided into two parts? How will this partition be done? You guys stop worrying about these questions. All of you should worry about Maharashtra and yourself. We are able to protect our fort. I want to tell the media that whatever is in your mind is not going to happen. Shiv Sena is invincible and indestructible.

Till now Uddhav Thackeray had started dominating Shiv Sena. Their impact was visible in every decision of the party. In 2005, there was an uproar when Raj Thackeray wrote a letter and told Balasaheb Thackeray that the quarter of the chipluses was misleading you. He also blamed this quartet for the defeat of Konkan Lok Sabha seat.

According to journalist Lyla Bawadam, the quartet that Raj Thackeray was talking about included Uddhav, Milind Narvekar and Subhash Desai. Balasaheb was sensed by Raj’s rebel style. It was said that Raj had sought a similar answer from Balasaheb in his letter as if a cub had questioned the tiger.

Working with Uddhav was finding it difficult for Raj and at the same time he knew that it was difficult to capture the marks and names of the Shiv Sena party without Balasaheb’s support. In such a situation, in December 2005, he decided to leave the Shiv Sena party.
