Those who objected to this attitude of CISF include retired Lieutenant General Kanwaljit Singh Dhillon and Major General Raju Chauhan VSM of the Indian Army. Retired Major General Raju Chauhan, while narrating the CISF, has directly stated that ‘Why are you insulting your force by deploying so many personnel to escape Shah Rukh Khan at the airport? This objection of retired Major General Raju Chauhan was responded to by CISF Airport Sector Headquarter. In its reply, the CISF said that ‘Shah Rukh Khan is a famous film figure, who has many fans. There is always a possibility of being crowded around them, which can cause inconvenience to others. A team of CISF was deployed to ensure adequate security and to prevent any possible accident.
However, Major General Raju Chauhan was not satisfied with this answer. He further said that ‘there are better ways to deal with such contingencies and you are aware of them. After wearing uniforms for 40 years, I feel sad to see that people are being used for such works in uniforms that degrade their status. If you feel that the deployment was appropriate and it did not hurt your pride, then you have a salute. This thing did not end here.
Retired Lieutenant General Kanwaljit Singh Dhillon also expressed his opinion on the controversy over actor Shah Rukh Khan’s security. He said that this is a sheer misuse of force. Let us tell you that retired Lieutenant General Kanwaljit Singh Dhillon is the name that has played a very important role in crushing terrorism active in Kashmir. Colonel AK Tiwari, another retired officer of the Indian Army, started his point with ‘Nonsense’. He said- Nonsense! This is an insult to uniform and our boys.
