Captain Shardul Thakur saved the honor by playing a militant innings of 77 runs. Apart from him, no batsman could stand. In bowling, 26 -year -old fast bowler Sylvester D’Souza (3/51 and 5/65) caught the attention of the selectors with eight wickets. At the same time, Tushar Deshpande performed 3/40 in the first innings.

KSCA Secretary XI scored 280 runs in the first innings, including Abhishek Ahlawat (52), Lochan Gowda (48) and Dheeraj Gowda (45). He scored 429 runs in the second innings.
