The BWF approved the Time Clock system in its meeting on 29 August. These rules also include the experiment under which the players will have to be ready to play the next rally within 25 seconds.

The BWF approved the Time Clock system in its meeting on 29 August. The first test of this system will be done in competitions to be held from 18 to 23 November 2025. After this, it will be widely tested from next year.
The BWF said, ‘These new rules will allow the BWF to test the time clock. These rules also include the experiment under which the players will have to be ready to play the next rally within 25 seconds.
The BWF gave its decision on a 25 -second rule after analyzing the figures of hundreds of matches of various competitions.
