Haris Rauf 4 Wicket Haul: Haris Rauf became game changer in Pakistan’s victory, defeated Afghanistan in the first match of T20 tri -series

New Delhi. Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 39 runs in the first match of the T20 tri -series. Fast bowler Haris Rauf played an important role in this victory, which proved to be a game changer for his team. Haris threw the 12th over maiden and forced Afghanistan to defeat by taking two wickets in this over. This stormy bowler took 4 wickets in his name. Afghanistan’s team could not play even 50 overs. Pakistan’s team is playing this series without Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Salman Ali Aga is captaining Pakistan. He played the captaincy innings in this match.

The Afghanistan team collapsed for 143 runs in 19.5 overs to chase the target of 183 runs kept by Pakistan. For Afghanistan, captain Rashid Khan scored the highest 39 runs while opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 38 runs. Sedikullah Atal contributed 23 while Darwis Rasoli contributed 21 runs. Only 4 Afghanistan batsmen could touch the double figure. Haris Rauf took the most 4 wickets for Pakistan. He spent 31 runs in 3.5 overs. Sufiyan Mukim took two wickets with fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz.

Earlier, Pakistan scored 182 runs for 7 wickets while batting first. Captain Salman Ali Aga scored the highest 53 runs for Pakistan. Salman hit three fours and three sixes off 36 balls. He was not out till the last. Opener Shahibzada Farhan scored 21 runs while Sam Ayub contributed 14 runs. Fakhar Zaman was dismissed for 20 runs while Mohammad Nawaz contributed 21 runs. Mohammad Haris scored 15 runs, while Faheem Ashraf returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs.

For Afghanistan, Farid Ashraf took two wickets while Mujib ur Rehman, Ajmatullah Amarjai, Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan took one wicket each. Apart from Pakistan, Afghanistan in the Tri -series, the third team is UAE. The match between Pakistan and UAE will be played on 30 August.
