More than a dozen countries share
17-year-old Anish is a student of Commerce Stream and is studying from 2024-25 batch. He not only qualified for the Asian Championship but has also secured the place of Team India in the upcoming World Skate Games 2025. He is the first under-19 speed skater in Uttar Pradesh to be ranked in the national team. The competition included players from more than 12 countries like China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Iran, Australia, New Zealand, who were competing with each other in categories like Inline Freestyle, Speed Skating, Artistic Skating, Rink Hockey and Skateboarding.
Gold medal century
So far, Anish has won 101 gold, 15 silver and 5 bronze medals. His major achievements include gold in Belgian Funders Grand Prix European Cup in 2019, and podium finish in the 61st National Roller Skating Championship in 2023. Aneesh, excited over this historic victory, said, “I will keep this moment always.” I have worked hard for the last 12 years. Waking up at 4 in the morning, strength training, cycling, and studying and eating in the car during the journey was for this one goal. This is not just a medal for me, but a dream that has come true. I am grateful to my parents, coaches and teachers. He further said that his dream is to become an entrepreneur in future and start his startup.
