New Delhi. Rashid Khan, one of the world’s best spin bowlers, has been made the captain of Afghanistan for the Asia Cup starting in the United Arab Emirates from 9 September. Afghanistan’s team dominates spin bowlers. Apart from the captain, other spinners in the team include Noor Ahmed, Mujib ur Rehman, AM Gajanfar and veteran all -rounder Mohammad Nabi. Last year, Afghanistan reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
