Whether or not Bluetooth is on and visible, check- Many times we forget to turn on the device on Bluetooth or do not keep it ‘visible’. First of all, turn on Bluetooth of your smartphone and the device that you want to connect and put it in ‘discoveble’ mode. With this, both devices will easily identify each other.
Remove old pairing data- Often many Bluetooth device pair already contains the phone, due to which the new device is not connected. In such a situation, go to Bluetooth Settings and ‘Forget’ the data of the old or useless device and try to create a new connection again.
Check the distance and battery of the device- To connect the Bluetooth device, it is necessary that both devices are close. Try to be the device at a distance of 1-2 meters. Also, keep in mind that the battery of both of them should have sufficient charge, because sometimes less battery also causes problems in connections.
Update software- Old software can also be the cause of a pairing problem. Update your smartphone and Bluetooth devices like earbuds or smartwatch firmware or software. Many bugs are cured by the new update and the devices connect in a smooth manner.
Reset Network Settings- If all the above measures do not work, then you can reset the network settings of your phone. This resets Wi-Fi, Mobile Data and Bluetooth settings and often ends the pairing problem.
Check from another device- If the problem still persists, then try to connect the Bluetooth device to another phone or laptop. If it gets connected there, then the problem is in your phone. On the other hand, if it is not connecting with another device, then there may be a hardware problem in Bluetooth device.
